More than twenty years ago, long before we knew where life would take us, two teenagers met in high school. He was young, cheeky, and by all accounts, rather noisy. She was beautiful, effortlessly captivating, and possessed an unmistakable British accent that completely bewildered him. It was, perhaps, an unlikely beginning. But what began as a friendship quietly became something much more enduring. Through the years, we grew together, shared countless memories, and remained a constant presence in each other's lives. Eventually, friendship gave way to love, and we spent more than four wonderful years building a life and a love of our own.
